写作中用词不准确是很容易犯的毛病，good，terrible，see，nice，kind，greatly，think，know，something等词汇在学生作文中反复出现 。这些词本身并没有问题，是英语常用词，但是它们表达的意思过于模糊，很多情况下，应该使用意义更加准确的词 。况且，学生老是使用这几个词会给人以表达形式单调，词汇量贫乏，文章缺乏感染力的印象 。

add，kind表达的含义都比较宽泛 。
add可以指数量上的增加，也可以指程度的加强，对于“丰富经验、增加知识”这个意思，用enrich会使表达更准确 。
kind从字面意义上讲是“好的、善良的”，用kind来形容人无法具体地表现出一个人的性格特征到底怎样，原句中是想表达“考虑周到、体贴入微”的特点，要准确表达这个含义应选择considerate 。

nice，interesting，common都属于普通词汇，用到句子中也显得平淡苍白 。nice的意思是“好的，令人愉快的”，interesting是“有趣的”，这两个词都不能准确地描绘出年轻人所憧憬的美好生活，句中想表达的是年轻人认为生活如同小说、电影一般充满戏剧变化，激动人心，要体现这层含义应该用dramatic，fascinating 。dramatic表示“刺激的，戏剧性的，给人深刻印象的”，fascinating表示“具有强烈吸引力的，迷人的，使人神魂颠倒的”，这两个词的程度要比nice，interesting深得多，表现力也更强 。
原句用common表达实际的现实生活的枯燥无味是不准确的，common的意思是“普通的，平常的”，普通平常的东西不一定是枯燥的，tedious是表示“(因过长、过慢或单调)令人厌倦的，烦人的”，恰好传达出现实生活由于琐碎和重复而变得索然无味这种含义 。

No matter who you are, you are definitely in a dire need for excitement andthrill. Then, a controversy might appear among the public whether citizensshould only watch those movies that can teach something in real life. Some ofyou may only watch those movies that can help to expand one’s knowledge andreveal the life stories, however, I strongly disagree with the statement and Ithink there will be a variety of reasons to watch movies.
Initially, entertainment is the principle reason for the entire worldwatching movies. Be it comedy, science-fiction, drama or action, movies are amedium of leisure and recreation for every single individual ranging from thoseon streets to the high and mighty residents in penthouses. Put it in anotherwords, the greatest of all benefits of watching a movie is that it entertainsyou and calms your tumultuous heart down. Take me as an example. I feel verytired after the full devotion to my career in a week and there is no time forthe gym and outdoor activities just because of the busy work schedules. Then, Iwill choose to lie on my couch and watch movies of many kinds with a bowl ofmunchies like popcorns and sodas during the weekends. By being engrossed in acomedy show that can evoke hearty laughs, I will encounter situations with apositive frame of mind. Besides, when watching the horror movies, I will feelexcited, scared, and emotional during those two and a half hours, leading me tobe transferred to a world far away from the reality. Obviously, no matter whatkind of movies they are, they will be worth watching if they can entertainyou.
Another general concern about movies is that they can help fasten the bondsbetween families. More often than not, what audiences are more focused on,during the process of watching movies, is the time they spend with theirfamilies rather than the well-orchestrated plots or the life lessons they mightdisclose. Current citizens can afford to spend too much time having fun liketraveling around the city or having a party because most of them are under hugepressure from the society and most of their time has to be occupied by a varietyof professional tasks. However, watching movies won’t consume too much time,serving as a stress buster and lubricant to strengthen relationship withfamilies. Almost at every weekend, I will hang out with my girlfriend to watchmovies whatever the genre is and staying with each other at that moment can helpshorten our mental distance and we can just hold hands of each other and feel soclose between us. Accordingly, my personal experience can help explain how wespend with our families or lovers like watching movies matters more than what wecan learn from the movies.
In a word, I don’t think only those movies that tell us important lifestories are worth watching. What I truly believe is those movies that canentertain audiences and provide viewers with a chance to stay with each otherare more welcomed.

As is known to all, receiving education has always been the main way for usto acquire knowledge throughout the human civilization history. Recently therehas been a hot debate whether education today is more accessible to the publicthan in the past. As far as I am concerned, there is no doubt that peoplenowadays have much easier access to education with the following reasons.
To begin with, the advent of various high-tech products has enriched theways and approaches to receive education. Obviously, with the introduction ofadvanced means of education, educational resources take on multiple forms suchas distant education and online study, which make knowledge more accessible tous. However, in the past, the only way to get educated was to attend classess intraditional schools, which definitely increases the difficulty of gainingeducation. For example, in the process of making preparations for TOEFL test, Iwant to take class in Beijing New Oriental School. But I am an undergraduatestudent of a university far away from Beijing. Meanwhile, due to the academicpressure from my college study, it is impossible for me to take a month off andto have an intensive course in Beijing. Thanks to the online courses, I can takethese classes in my college while handling the tasks and assignment from myfield of study. The online courses make possible the in-time response to myquestions and online submission of assignments.
Secondly, since more and more importance is being attached to education, itis much easier and essential to get educated than in the past. Under the societyfull of intense competition, acquiring formal education has become the essenitalprecondition for anyone to make a living. As a result, the public awareness ofreceiving education is much stronger than before, leading to a common phenomenonthat an increasing number of parents send their kids to study abroad. However,in the bygone days/in the old days, the requirement for a person was not asstrict as it is today, with the result that less attention was paid toeducation. According to a survey conducted by the National EducationalDepartment in China, the number of students who take the national collegeentrance examination has risen from 88.3% in 2008 to 92.5% in 2013. Meanwhile,another research shows that the literacy rate in China has increased by 23.6% in2013 compared with 61.50% in 1993. The above data has shown that the number ofeducated people has gone through a dramatic rise, which indirectly indicatesthat education now is more available to the public.
Admittedly, some areas in the world may be cited as an exception. Forinstance, people in the war-stricken areas including Iraq and Syria do not haveeasier access to education and some of them are even on the verge of starvation.In these areas, the current educational situation is not better than that in thepast. However, such cases only occupy such a tiny percentage of the globalpopulation that they can be neglected.
In conclusion, I believe that it is much easier for the public to receiveeducation than in the past with the aid of technology and the awakening sense ofeducation.

In sharp contrast, a few decades ago, people frompoverty-stricken areas had never dreamed of attending the lectures offered byworld-renowned professors, however, with the above-mentioned resources, it isabsolutely possible for those people to realize their dreams. Thus,state-of-the-art technology makes if possible for people to have full access tohigh quality educational resources.
Additionally, governments have put so much financial and human resources toprovide education at different levels so that people enjoy a better chance to beeducated. For instance, Chinese government spared no effort in this regard sinceeducation from kindergarten to twelfth grade is fully subsidized and sucheducational experience is accessible to children from both rural and urbanareas. Besides, institutions of higher learning and various research centersreceive state fund, and the figure is so phenomenal that it is not exaggeratedto claim that it is in billions of U.S. dollars. Such foundations can be formultiple purpose, like purchasing advanced science equipment, attracting bringyoung researchers and scientists, funding cutting-edge research to improvepeople’s livelihood, directly and indirectly. All of these institutions anduniversities are in a better position to provide education resources topeople.
In conclusion, it is much easier for people to get education of all levelranging from kindergarten to tertiary education since education comes in handywith advanced technological tools like these massive on-line courses andgovernments’ effort to improve people’s educational experience.
